Anton Trumm, a farmer, his wife Anna, and son Johann (age 16) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard a barque named Der Junge Mattias (The Young Mattias) under the command of Skipper Johann Gottfried Selander.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Dehler on 26 June 1767 and Anton died on 20 September 1767. His widow remarried to Johann Herzberger and she and her son Johann Wilhelm Trumm are recorded on the 1767 census of Dehler in Household No. 33 along with Johann Herzberger.
The 1798 census of Louis records Wilhelm Trumpf from Dehler in Household No. Ls21.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anton Trumm came from the German region of Trier.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
