Trupp (Frank)
Johannes Trupp, son of Johann Heinrich Trupp from Langsdorf & Anna Catharina Bemmersheim, was born 26 November 1752. Johann Heinrich Trupp died in Wohnbach, Germany.
His widow and his only surviving child, Johannes, went to Russia, arriving from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 September 1766 aboard a ship under the command of Skipper Reders.
Cathrina Trapp [sic] and her son Johannes (age 8) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Son Johannes is recorded on the 1798 census of Frank in Household No. Fk006.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that the Trupp family came from the German region of Laubach.
This family is traced to Johannes Tropp born about 1679, and Anna Elisabeth Pauli of Langsdorf, Germany.
