Dietrich Ulrich, a farmer, and his wife Maria arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Lopamink under the command of Lieutenant Kryukov.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Keller on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 45 along with newborn son Johann.
The 1767 census records that Dietrich Ulrich came from the German village of Kolheim [Göllheim?] in the Kurmainz region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Ulrich family among the Volga German colonies.
