Johann[es] Ulrich, a farmer, his wife Maria, and his father Albert arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 17 July 1766 aboard the pink named Lev (Lion) under the command of Lieutenant Fyodor Fyodorov.
Johannes Ulrich and his wife Maria are recorded on the 1767 census of Pfeifer in Household No. 11. They had settled in Pfeifer on 20 August 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Ulrich came from the German region of Dienheim while the 1767 census records that he came from Würzburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Ulrich family among the Volga German colonies.
