Johann Urschlauer, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Pfeifer on 15 June 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 31.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Urschlauer was a physician while the 1767 census records that he was a barber (Friseur).
The 1767 census records that Johannes Urschlauer came from the German village of Seligenstadt in the region of Mainz.
There are no known surviving male descendants of this Urschlauer family.
