Georg Völker, a craftsman (Handwerker), his wife Maria, and 1-week-old son Johann Philipp are recorded on the 1767 census of Walter in Household No. 54. They had settled there on 25 August 1767.

Philipp Völker and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Walter in Household No. Wt015 along with a note that they are living in the colony of Huck.

The 1767 census records that Georg Völker came from the German village of Danzig.
