Valentin (Dönhof)
Hans [Heinrich] Valentin, a single farmer, arrived from Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 30 May 1766 aboard the pink Novaya Dvinka under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.
He settled in the Volga German colony of Dönhof on 12 February 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 52 along with his new wife Anna Margaretha.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Hans Heinrich Valentin came from the German region of Darmstadt.
