Vogelmann
Johann Georg Vogelmann from Elwangen [sic] & Anna Maria Nöthens from Offenbach were married on 1 April 1766 in the Lutheran Church of Büdingen.
Johann Vogelmann, a weaver (Weber), and his wife Maria arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Kamenka on 20 June 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 79 along with 3-day-old daughter Anna Maria.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Vogelmann came from the German region of Schwaben (Swabia) while the 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Ellwangen.
