Johannes Völker, son of Johann Caspar & Anna Maria Völker, was born 13 July 1741 and baptized 14 July 1741 in Glauberg.
Johann Völker, the single servant of Peter Schenk, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 9 June 1766 aboard an English frigate named Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax. [See Schenk Family.]
Johannes Völker (age 28), a farmer, and his [new] wife Anna Dorothea (age 21) are recorded on the 1767 census of Galka in Household No. 56. They had arrived in Galka on 27 July 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Völker came from the German region of Stolberg. The 1767 census records that Johannes Völker came from the German village of Glauberg near Stolberg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Völker family among the Volga German colonies.
