Georg Friedrich von Gildener, a captian in the Prussian military (preussischer Hauptmann), and his wife Margaretha are recorded on an appendix to the 1767 census of Boisroux in Household No. 1.

In 1773, Friedrich von Gildener and his family moved from Boisroux to Saratov.

The 1767 census records that Georg Friedrich von Gildener came from the German village of Kulz bei Oberviechbach [Oberviechtach].
