Konrad Wagner, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughter Maria (age 2) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 18 June 1766 aboard the hooker Anna Katharina under the command of Skipper Adolph Scharpenberg.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Straub on 12 May 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17.
The 1767 census records that Konrad Wagner came from the German village of Hausen-Arnsbach in the Nassau-Usingen region.
