Joachim [sic] Walachowski, a farmer, his wife Louisa, and daughter Katharina (age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya on 23 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Joachim [sic] Walachowski came from the German village of Petersburg. The 1767 census records that Gottfried [sic] Walachowski was a carpenter (Zimmermann) from the Russian town of Petersburg.
Three are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
