Joachim [sic] Walachowski, his wife Louisa, and daughter Katharina (age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Paulskaya on 23 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 17.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Joachim [sic] Walachowski was a farmer from the German village of Petersburg. The 1767 census records that Gottfried [sic] Walachowski was a carpenter (Zimmermann) from the Russian town of Petersburg.
