Ksaweriy (?) Walter, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Mariental on 16 June 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 8.
The 1767 census records that Ksaweriy Walter came from the German area of Blasien.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Walter family among the Volga German colonies.
