Alexander Wandjor was born in approximately 1789 in Ferrara, Italy.
He served as a soldier in the 2nd Infantry Regiment of Napoleon's Army. He fought against and was captured by the Russians.
Milovidov records that as of 1814, two brothers and a sister were still living in the Ferrara.
In 1812, was settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim.
His death in 1845 is recorded on the 1850 census of Rosenheim.
