Wanner

Georg Weiner was born approximately 1781. He came to the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt from an illegible location as a prisoner of war in 1819.

He is recorded there on the 1834 Census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 351 along with a note that he had relocated to the colony of Göbel in 1827.

He is recorded on the 1834 Census of Göbel in Household No. 124.

He is recorded on the 1857 Census of Göbel in Household No. 166 with a note that he had died in 1852.

This surname evidently became Wanner.
