Franz Weimann, a single farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Köhler on 10 August 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 26 along with a note that he is working as a day laborer (Lohnarbeiter) and relocated to the colony of Kamenka in 1768.

Franz Weimann from Köhler is recorded on the 1798 census of Kamenka in Household No. Km005.

The 1767 census records that Franz Weimann came from the Polish village of Posen.
