Weinmeier
Michael Weinmeier and his family, including son Anton, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 25 July 1766 aboard the snow-brig named Maria Sophia under the command of Skipper Johann Bauert.
They settled in the Volga German colonie of Preuss on 16 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 84.
The 1798 census records Anton Weinmeier in Neu-Kolonie in Household No. Nk14.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Michael Weinmeier was a harness maker while the 1767 census records that he was a farmer.
The 1767 census records that Michael Weinmeier came from the German village of Gundelfingen in the Kurfalz region.
