Weis(s) (Brabander)
Johann Georg Weiss, a single farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Brabander on 13 August 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 130.
The widow of Johann Georg Weiss from Seelmann and their children are recorded on the 1798 census of Preuss in Household No. Ps07.
This is presumed to be the same Johann Georg Weiss because there are a number of families who more back and forth between Brabander and Seelmann.
The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Weiss came from the German village of Fuchsstadt in the Würzburg region.
