Konrad Weltz, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), his wife Sophia Korn, and children (Christian August, age 17; Anna Eleonora, age 13) are recorded on the 1767 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 65. They had settled there on 27 August 1766.

The widow of August Weltz and their children (Adam, age 19; Dorothea, age 17; Anna Maria, age 15) are recorded on the 1798 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. Ka076.

Adam Weltz, son of August Weltz, and his family are recorded on the 1834 census of Katharinenstadt in Household No. 217.

The 1767 census records that Konrad Weltz came from the German village of Leeswig in the Anhalt-Zerbst region.
