Johann Georg Werner, a farmer, his wife Anna Katharina, and sons (Johann David, age 7; Philipp Karl, age 1½) settled in the Volga German colony of Krasnoyar on 20 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 51.

The 1767 census records that Johann Georg Werner came from the German region of Darmstadt.
