There are three Wilhelms that settled in Norka.
(1) Johannes Wilhelm, son of Johann Jacob & Anna Dorothea Wilhelm, was born 22 March 1722 in Schlierbach. He married there to Anna Magdalena Lohrey on 7 April 1752. They had two children: (1) Anna Gertraud, born 28 January 1753; and (2) Albertina, born 16 February 1755, died 30 November 1756. Anna Magdalena died on 19 November 1756. Johannes remarried on 26 January 1758 to Anna Margaretha Seibert.
Johannes Wilhelm, his wife Anna Margaretha, and daughter Anna [Gertrude] (age 14) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.
Johannes Wilhelm, a farmer, his wife Anna Margaretha, and daughter Anna Gertrude (age 16) are recorded on the 1767 census of Norka in Household No. 38. They had settled there on 15 August 1767.
Johannes Wilhelm is recorded on the 1798 census of Norka in Household No. Nr016 along with his daughter Gertrude and her family.
Johannes Wilhelm and his wife Anna Margaretha are recorded on the 1775 census of Norka in Household No. 16 along with their son-in-law Adam Hölzer and his family.
The 1811 census of Norka records in 1808 the death of Johannes Wilhelm in Household No. 16.
Both the Oranienbaum passenger list and the 1767 census record that Johannes Wilhelm came from the German district of Isenburg.
(2) Johann Jacob Wilhelm, son of Johann Jacob Wilhelm, was born 17 November 1748 in Udenhain.
Jakob [Wilhelm] and his sister Eva Maria (noted below) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott.
Johann Jakob Wilhelm, a single farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Norka on 15 August 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 9.
Jakob Wilhelm, his wife Elisabeth, and children (Katharina, age 8; Johannes, age 5) are recorded on the 1775 census of Norka in Household No. 74 along with stepson Lorenz Hartung.
Jakob Wilhelm is recorded on the 1798 census of Norka in Household No. Nr078 along with his wife and stepchildren.
The 1811 census of Norka records in 1801 the death of Jakob Wilhelm in Household No. 78.
The 1767 census records that Johann Jakob Wilhelm came from the German district of Isenburg.
(3) Eva Maria Wilhelm, daughter of Johann Jacob Wilhelm, married Johann Daniel Fuchs in Schlierbach on 13 November 1757.
They had arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the barque named Fortitudo under the command of Skipper John Scott along with her brother, the above noted Johann Jakob Wilhelm (born 1748).
There are no known surviving male lines of this Wilhelm family among the Volga German colonies.
