Discussion & Documentation:

Georg Heinrich Willmann, son of Johann Georg Willmann & Anna Catharina Zimmermann, was born 16 October 1736 in Harpertshausen near Babenhausen. He married Magdalena Sophia Bössler from Umstadt on 24 June 1766 in Büdingen.

The couple, along with his sister Anna Margaretha (also born in Harpertshausen on 7 January 1748), immigrated to Russia arriving from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 September 1766 on a ship under the command of Skipper Reders.

Georg Henrich Willmann and his wife Magdalena are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.

Heinrich, recorded as a widower, settled in the Volga German colony of Frank on 1 September 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 84.
