Discussion & Documentation:

Christoph Wolf, a cobbler (Schuhmacher), and his wife Katharina settled in the Volga German colony of Kratzke on 7 August 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 18.

The 1767 census records that Christoph Wolf came from the German village of Stendal in the Brandenburg region.

There to not appear to be any surviving male descendants of this Wolf family among the Volga German colonies.
