Johann Wolf, a farmer, his wife Charlotta, and daughters (Katharina, age 9; Anna Magdalena, age 4; Anna Helena, age 1) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard a Danish galliot named Der Engel Rafael (Archangel Raphael) under the command of Skipper Ehlert Kongsted.
The parish register of Schilling records the birth of Eva Elisabeth Wulff, daughter of Johann Wulff & Charlotta Perring, on 18 July 1767 on the Volga River near Syzran while en route to the colonies.
Johann Wolf, a farmer, his wife Elisabeth Charlotte, and daughters (Katharina, age 16; Eva Elisabeth, age ½) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 159. They had settled there on 12 May 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Wolf came from the German region of Erbach. The 1767 census records that Johann Wolf came from the German village of Kaduk [?] in the Erbach region.
