Zöger*
Johannes Zöger, a farmer, and his wife Anna Eva arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the ship Der Jager under the command of Skipper Gabriel Wild.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Seelmann on 15 July 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 11.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johannes Zöger came from the German region of Fulda. The 1767 census records that he came from the German village of Speyer in the Pfalz region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
