Christian Zander and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim. Christian died and his widow Eva remarried to David Krause. The combined Zander-Krause family is recorded on the 1767 census of Rosenheim in Household No. 11.
The 1767 census records that the widow Eva Zander came from the German town of Danzig.
There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
