Zanner*
Friedrich Zanner, a single farmer, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii.
It appears that he married Elisabeth, the widow of Alexander Morbius who had been on the same ship, and then died himself. Elisabeth appears to have remarried to Michael Zimmermann who was also on the same ship.
Michael & Elisabeth Zimmermann are recorded on the 1767 census of Seelmann in Household No. 24 along with Elisabeth's two sons (Georg & Christoph) from her first marriage to Alexander Morbius - although they are mistakenly recorded with the surname of Zanner. These boys are recorded on the 1798 census of Seelmann in Households No. Sm19 & Sm48 as Georg & Christoph Morbius.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Friedrich Zanner came from the German region of Bayreuth.
There do not appear to be any actual surviving male descendants of Friedrich Zanner.
