Michael Ziller [sic], a farmer, and his family settled in the Volga German colony of Rosenheim on 15 March 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 55.

Widow Christina Zeier and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Rosenheim in Household No. Rm41.

The 1767 census records that Michael Ziller came from the German village of Nähermemmingen in the Herzogtum Württemberg.
