Heinrich Zimmermann, a farmer, his wife Maria, and children (Christina, age 7; Eva, age 5; Johann, age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 12 September 1766 aboard an English frigate under the command of Skipper Adam Beerfeier.
Heinr. Zimmermann, his wife Maria Gertrauth, and children (Elisabetta, age 7; Maria Eva, age 5; Caspar, age 1½) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that both Maria Eva and Caspar died en route.
Heinrich Zimmermann, a farmer, his wife Maria, and daughter Anna Eva (age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Susannental in Household No. 17. They had settled in Susannental on 3 August 1767.
The 1767 census records that Heinrich Zimmermann came from the German village of Obermeilingen in Hessen.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Zimmermann family among the Volga German colonies.
