Konrad Zimmermann, a farmer, his wife Maria Elisabeth, and children (Dorothea Katharina, age 12; Henrietta Katharina, age 9; Maria Elisabeth, age 7; Philipp Jakob, age 7-weeks) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 June 1766 aboard a ship named Die Neue Fortuna (The New Fortune) under the command of Skipper Ahrens Steingraber.
Conrad Zimmermann is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Konrad Zimmermann (age 45), a farmer, his wife Maria Elisabeth (age 30), and daughters (Maria Elisabeth, age 9; Henrietta Katharina, age 7) are recorded on the 1767 census of Warenburg in Household No. 61. They had arrived in Warenburg on 12 May 1767.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Konrad Zimmermann came from the German region of Darmstadt. The 1767 census records that Konrad Zimmermann came from the German village of Rosbach in the Darmstadt region.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Zimmermann family among the Volga German colonies.
