By 1762, Andreas Heinrich Zwingmann had been living in Brandonburg for 6 years. He and his family migrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein). His [unnamed first] wife died in Altona while in route to Denmark. He and the children (Georg Heinrich, age 12; Hanna Nerietha, age 8; Anna Eleonora, age 4) arrived in the Danish town of Flensburg on 19 June 1762, and he swore allegiance to King Friedrich of Denmark on 19 July 1762.

The marriage of Andreas Heinrich Zwingmann from Brandenburg to Maria Margaretha Klein, sister of Jakob Klein, is recorded in the parish register of Husby on 28 October 1762. [See Klein Family.]

The baptisms of two children born to Andreas Heinrich Zwingmann & Maria Margaretha Klein are recorded in the parish register of Havetoft: (1) Johann Jacob, baptized 23 August 1763, died 1 December 1764; and (2) Maria Sophia, baptized 16 November 1764.

On 1 October 1764, Andreas Heinrich Zwingmann and his family are recorded in the Danish colony of Nordscheide. They are last recorded among the Danish colonies on 22 April 1765.

Heinrich Zwingmann, a farmer, his wife Maria Margaretha, and children (Georg Heinrich, age 12; Anna Henriette, age 12; Anna Eleonora, age 8; Maria Sophia, age 3; Helena Maria, age 1) are recorded on the 1767 census of Messer in Household No. 13. They had settled in the Volga German colony of Messer on 7 July 1766.

Julianna Nein née Zwingmann and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Schilling in Household No. Sg063.

Maria Sophia Götz née Zwingmann and her family are recorded in the 1798 census of Warenburg in Household No. Wr018.

Katharina Elisabeth Kaiser née Zwingmann from Messer and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Warenburg in Household No. Wr044.

Anna Maria Funkner née Zwingmann from Messer and her family are recorded on the 1798 census of Warenburg in Household No. Wr069.

The 1767 census records that Heinrich Zwingmann came from the German district of Hannover.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Zwingmann family among the Volga German colonies.
