Widow Anna Bingel [sic], her children (Sebastian, [age not recorded]; Elisabeth, age 9; Anna Maria, age 5), and her mother-in-law Anna [surname not recorded] arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 4 July 1766 aboard the English frigate Love & Unity under the command of Skipper Thomas Fairfax.
Researcher Andreas Reith believes that this family settled in the colony of Zürich.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Anna Bilgel came from the German region of Isenburg.
Peter Baumgarten, a single turner, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.
Peter Baumgarten is recorded on a list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767.
Researcher Andreas Raith believes that this Peter Baumgarten settled in the colony of Zürich.
