There are two Eckhardt families that arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the galliot Johannes under the command of Skipper Stahl. Both of them settled in the Volga German colony of Frank in 1767. The 1767 census does not record their relationship to each other.
Georg Wilhelm Edel was born in Sulzfeld on 8 December 1725. He married there on 21 May 1748 to Dorothea Haas (widow of a Mr. Sprecher). She had been born also in Sulzfeld on 12 September 1711.
They immigrated first to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) and settled on 24 July 1761 in the colony of Friedrichsanbau on the farmstead Großer Hof.
On 16 April 1765, Wilhelm and Dorothea left Friedrichsanbau and immigrated to Russia, arriving in the colony of Fischer on 7 July 1766. They are recorded in Fischer on the 1767 Census in Household No. 23.

Johann Michael Eichmann was born about 1743 in Breitenbrunn, southeast of Höchst im Odenwald. He married in Büdingen to Anna Barbara Völker on 30 June 1766, the same day that his presumed sister married Johann Nikolaus Dorsch.
They arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 15 September 1766 aboard the snow brig Die Frau Dietrika under the command of skipper Joachim Friedrich Luhn.
Johann Martin & Barbara Eisele had four children: (1) Regina Katharina, baptized in August 1749 in the Ruit Evangelical Church, just north of Ölbronn; (2) Barbara, born in 1749; (3) Elisabetha, born in 1750; and (4) Johann Georg Wendel, born on 13 April 1757 and baptized on 14 April 1757 in the Ölbronn Evangelical Church.
Johann Martin and his family immigrated to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein), departing from Altona, Duchy of Holstein, on 29 June 1761 under the leadership of Johann Thomas Gabler. They arrived in the city of Schleswig, Duchy of Schleswig, on 4 July 1761.
Johann Heinrich Eisenach, son of Johann Valentin & Anna Maria Eisenach, was born in Willofs, northeast of Lauterbach. He was baptized the following day. He married Anna Margaretha.
They immigrated to Russia, arriving from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on the pink Slon under the command of Lieutenant Sergey Panov along with their son Johann Valentin (age 1). They settled the following year in the Volga German colony of Frank and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 74. Son Johann Valentin is not recorded there with them.
Johann Martin Eitenmüller, son of Johann Jacob Eitenmüller & Margaretha Elisabetha Friderich, was born 29 May 1720 in Fränkisch-Crumbach.
Johann Martin Eidenmüller married on 21 February 1749 in Fränkisch-Crumbach to Benigna Dorothea Christina Zahn, daughter of Caspar Dillmann Zahn from Idstein. She had been born 6 January 1721.
Johann David Elsässer, son of Hartmann Elsässer & Luise Armbrecht, was born on 24 December 1734 in Gelnhausen, northeast of Hanau.
He and his wife Margaretha immigrated to Russia. They arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a galliot named Concordia under the command of Skipper Jakob Bauert.
They arrived in Schwab on 8 July 1767, and are recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 25.
In 1795, the family moved to the neighboring colony of Galka, although some descendants remained in Schwab.
Johann Adam Engel, son of Christoph Engel & Justina Elisabetha Krieger from Schierstein, married Anna Margaretha Mattern, daughter of Heinrich Mattern & Elisabetha Margaretha Arnold, on 11 February 1764 in the Catholic Church in Landau (aka Landau in der Pfalz), an autonomous (kreisfrei) town surrounded by Kreis Südliche Weinstraße.
Anna Margaretha Mattern was born 1 November 1736 in Kloster Klarental, today located in the municipality of Wiesbaden.
