Kromm (Balzer)*
Katharina Kromm, daughter of Ernst & Engel Katharina Kromm, was born 6 February 1749 in Hüttengesäß.
She is believed to have been married to Kaspar Kromm.
Kaspar Kromm, a farmer, and his wife Katharina arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard the galliot named Kronshlot under the command of Skipper Ivan Kunakovskii along with many other families from Hüttengesäß.

Kuhn (Balzer)*
Catharina Kuhn, daughter of Johann Jost Kuhn & Elisabeth Gerd, was baptized in Hüttengesäß on 14 August 1711.
She married 12 June 1727 in Hüttengesäß to Johann Caspar Zieg. [See Zieg Family.]
Katharina Zieg née Kuhn arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 8 August 1766 along with her son Philipp.
Katharina Zieg née Kuhn settled in the Volga German colony of Balzer on 1 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 6.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Kuhn family among the Volga German colonies.
