Joseph Kinderknecht, son of Joseph Kinderknecht & Anna Catharina Buseri, married on 20 April 1744 to Anna Barbara Schledohr, daughter of Claud Schledohr and Margaretha Lenert, in Ormesheim, today just southeast of the Saarbrücken airport. They had three children, all born in Ormesheim: (1) Johannes Peter, born 6 January 1745; (2) Johannes, born 20 May 1746; and (3) Magdalena, born 23 January 1748.

Joseph Kinderknecht died in Ormesheim on 22 May 1748, and his widow remarried there on 3 November 1750 to Joseph Wassinger.

Hanß Eberhard Kaucher, son of Hanß Jacob Kaucher & Anna Maria Müller, was baptized on 17 March 1684 in Stein. He married on 3 February 1711 in Lauffen to Elisabeth Wärtmann, daughter of Johann Michael Wärtmann.

Eberhard Kaucher, son of Hanß Eberhard Kaucher & Elisabeth Wärtmann, was born 16 February 1721 in Stein. He married Eva Eberle, daughter of Sebastian Eberle.

Among the children of Eberhard Kaucher & Eva Eberle was Johann Georg Kaucher, born on 6 January 1761 in Stein.

Balthasar Kimmel (sometimes recorded as Kümmel in German documents), son of Johann Philipp & Susanna Elisabeth Kimmel, was born on 16 January 1734 in Gelnhausen, northeast of Hanau. He married there on 10 January 1757 to Susanna Maria Schenk, daughter of Johann Heinrich Schenk & Susanna Maria Schneider. Susanna Maria had also been born in Gelnhausen on 27 December 1732. They have three known children, each born in Gelnhausen: (1) Johann Balthasar, born 1 September 1759; (2) Wilhelmine Karoline, born 6 March 1762; and (3) Elisabeth Dorothea, born 19 July 1764.

There are two Kildau families that arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat named Saratov under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs additional research.

Johann Matthias Kexel married Albertina Wengenroth, daughter of Johann Georg Wengenroth, on 15 January 1737 in the Evangelical Church of Westerburg, 50 kilometers northeast of Koblenz. Albertina had been baptized in Westerburg on 4 October 1711.

Heinrich Kappes married Anna Barbara Baur, daughter of Dionysii Baur, on 1 January 1754 in the Catholic Church of Bombogen, 9 kilometers east of Wittlich. They had six children, each baptized in Bombogen: (1) Johann Christoph, on 20 October 1754; (2) Anna Maria, on 25 November 1756; (3) Johann Heinrich, on 9 September 1758; (4) Nicolaus, on 21 November 1760; (5) Joseph, on 26 March 1762; and (6) Johann Peter, on 24 May 1763.

Two distant cousins, descendants of Heinrich Kämmerzell of Gersfeld and his wife Margaretha Mülig of Sparbrod, migrated to the Volga German colonies in 1766.

Johann Christoph Kaltner (also spelled Költner, Kältner, Kaltener, or Caltener on various documents), son of Johann Wilhelm Kaltner & Anna (Elisabetha) Catharina Waltmann/Waldmann, was baptized on 27 February 1744 in the Catholic Church of Westernkotten (today called Bad-Westernkotten), 6 kilometers south of Lippstadt, in Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine-Westphalia). He married Anna Nagel.

They immigrated to Russia, and settled in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt on 27 August 1766. They are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 58.

Johann Heinrich Kalbfleisch, son of Nikolaus Kalbfleisch, married on 13 April 1758 in Romrod to Julianna Fritz, daughter of Johann Heinrich & Anna Clara Fritz. Julianna had been baptized in Romrod on 4 January 1739.

Heinrich Kalbfleisch, his wife Julianna, and children (Anna, age 6; Johann, age 4; Maria, age ¼ ) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 24 July 1766 aboard a barque named Georg under the command of Skipper Adam Bairnsfair.

Two Helfenbeins from the village of Landenhausen immigrated to the Volga German colonies. Their relationship to each other, if any, needs additional research.

(1) Johannes Helfenbein married on 12 April 1766 in Büdingen to Susanna Lufft.

Johann[es] Helfenbein and his wife Susanna arrived from Lübeck at the port in Oranienbaum on 11 August 1766 aboard a Russian galliot named Citadel under the command of Midshipman Gregory Bukharin.
