Biography:
Father Philipp Dorzweiler was born in 1844 in the Volga German colony of Katharinenstadt and died in 1880 in the colony of Pfeifer.
He studied theology at the Tiraspol Roman Catholic Theological Seminary in Saratov. He was ordained on 30 March 1868.
Then he served as a priest in the following Roman Catholic parishes: Köhler from 1873 to 1877 and Pfeifer from 1878 to 1880.
