Biography: 

Mitch Unrein, son of Michael Unrein & Kay Cure, was born 25 March 1987 in Eaton, Colorado.

Following a football career with the University of Wyoming, Unrein was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2010. He played with the Broncos until 2014. He moved to the San Diego Chargers for the 2015 season. He signed with the Chicago Bears midway through the 2015 season, and played with them until 2017. He then played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2018.

Unrein is married to Olympic bronze-medalist trapshooter Corey Cogdell.

Mitch's Volga German ancestors came from the colonies of Ober-Monjou, Semenovka, and Mariental.
