History:
Dolgoye had been located in the Molotovskaya Oblast which became part of the Perm Oblast. In 2005, the Perm Oblast merged with several surrounding jurisdictions to become the Perm Krai.
During the early post-World War II era, a Gulag was located at Dolgoye.
