Eberhard Sack, a single stonemason, arrived from Lübeck in Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Christina under the command of Skipper Jacob Stappenberg.
He arrived in the Volga German colony of Huck on 1 July 1767. He is recorded there on the 1767 Census in Household No. 57 along with his new wife, Anna Eva Michel, and their newborn son, Johann Adam (age 1 month).
Eberhard & his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Huck in Household Hk47.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Eberhard Sack came from the German region of Darmstadt.
[There is a Stoffel [Christofe] Sack who married in Heuchelheim on 9 May 1746 to Catharina Rinn. They had a son Georg Eberhard Sack who was born 25 March 1747 in the village of Heuchelheim and baptized the following day. However, he appears to have married and remained in Germany, having a child in 1772 in Allendorf an der Lahn, just south of Heuchelheim.]
