Johann[es] Kaiser, a farmer, his wife Anna, and children ([Jo]hannetta, age 9; Katharina, age 6) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a barque named Fortitudo (Fortitude) under the command of Skipper John Scott.
Johannes Keiser [sic], his wife Anna Julianna, and daughter Eva Netta (age 9) are recorded on the list of colonists being transported from St. Petersburg to Saratov in 1767 along with a note that father Johannes died en route.
It is not known in which colony this Kaiser family settled.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johann Kaiser came from the German region of Isenburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Kaiser family among the Volga German colonies.
