Discussion & Documentation

Christian David, a single stonemason (Maurer), arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat named Saratov under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.

In 1788, Christian Dietel moved from Dietel to Hussenbach.

Christian David and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Dietel in Household No. Dt53.

The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Christian David came from the region of Berlin.
