Gottfried Korn, a craftsman (Handwerker), and his wife Margaretha settled in the Volga German colony of Reinhard on 15 October 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 32.

The 1767 census records that Gottfried Korn came from the German village of Prenzlau in the Brandenburg region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
