Reinhard
The Volga German colony of Reinhard was founded on 15 July 1766 by colonists recruited by LeRoi & Pictet.
Reinhard's first mayor (Vorsteher) was Johann Christian Reinhard, and it is after him that the town received it's German name. By a Decree dated 26 February 1768, it was given the offical Russian name of Osinovka.
Today, what remains of the former colony of Reinhard is known as Osinovka.
Originally the Lutheran congregation in Reinhard was part of the Rosenheim parish which had been established in 1767.
