Johannes Krämer, a farmer, his wife Anna, and daughter Maria (age 1½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 16 August 1766 aboard a snow-brig named Neptunus (Neptune) under the command of Skipper Johann Graap.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Rothammel on 21 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 5.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Johannes Krämer was a farmer while the 1767 census records that he was a cobbler.
