Widower Friedrich Weigandt, a farmer, and his sons (Georg Jakob, age 19½; Johann Philipp, age 10) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 29 July 1766 aboard a ship named Apollo under the command of Skipper Friedrich Detloff Mörenberg.
Philipp Weigandt (age 10), son of the deceased Heinrich [sic] Weigandt, is recorded on the 1767 census of Kutter in Household No. 82 along with the Christoph Guttmann family. They had arrived in Kutter on 16 August 1767. The 1767 census does not record a relationship between the Weigandt & Guttmann families. [See Guttmann Family.]
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Friedrich Weigandt came from the German region of Isenburg.
There are no known surviving male lines of this Weigandt family among the Volga German colonies.
