Friedrich Rergard, a farmer, settled in the Volga German colony of Schuck on 18 July 1766. He and his wife Maria Eva are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 25.

The 1767 census records that Friedrich Rergard came from the German village of Bernkastel in the Trier region.

There are no known surviving male lines of this family among the Volga German colonies.
