Andreas Vogt, a farmer from Mecklenburg, and his family arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 19 July 1766 aboard a Russian packet-boat named Severnyi Orel (Northern Eagle) under the command of Lieutenant Pyotr Malenkov.

They settled in the Volga German colony of Dietel.

There are no known surviving male lines of this Vogt family among the Volga German colonies.
