Georg Strasheim, a miller (Müller), his wife Anna, and son Christoph (age 4) arrived from Lübeck via Reval [Estonia] at the port of Oranienbaum on 25 May 1766 aboard a pink named Новая Двинка (New Dvinka [a river in Russia]) under the command of Lieutenant Ivan Perepechin.
They have not been located on the 1767 census of the Volga German colonies.
Christoph Strasheim (age 36) and his family are recorded on the 1798 census of Frank in Household No. Fk015 along with the widow Elisabeth Kissler. The 1798 census does not record a relationship between the Kissler and the Strasheim families.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Georg Strasheim came from the German region of Nassau.
