Kaspar Müller, a single man, arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 14 June 1766 aboard the ship named Die Neue Fortuna (The New Fortune) under the command of Skipper Ahrens Steingraber as the servant of Martin Stütz. [See Stütz Family.]
He arrived in the Volga German colony of Laub on 12 July 1767 and is recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 27 along with his uncle, Johann Martin Stütz.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Kaspar Müller came from the German region of Württemberg.
