Heinrich Lampe, a farmer, his wife Anna Katharina, and children (Maria Katharina, age 9; Hans Heinrich, age 4; Anna Katharina, age ½) arrived from Lübeck at the port of Oranienbaum on 22 July 1766 aboard a Danish galliot named Der Engel Rafael (Archangel Raphael) under the command of Skipper Ehlert Kongsted.
They settled in the Volga German colony of Stahl am Tarlyk on 11 August 1767 and are recorded there on the 1767 census in Household No. 27.
The Oranienbaum passenger list records that Heinrich Lampe came from the German region of Holstein. The 1767 census records that Heinrich Lampe came from the German town of Kiel in Holstein.
The Eichhorns record that this Heinrich Lampe may be the same one who immigrated first to Denmark (Schleswig-Holstein) in 1764.
